you are right, for new contributors a "jargon list" would be helpfull to 
understand what these acronyms "i18n", "a11y", etc. actually stand for.  
I did not know about "mozilla-jargon list" before; having a look onto 
mozilla jargon list, it seems to explain most acronyms used by 
developers;  adding a few acronyms, like "a11y", the list would be quite 
usefull for GNOME project ;)
