GNOME Modem Lights Applet Help Suggestion

Hi all

I have an albeit very unimportant suggestion for the help of the GNOME
Modem Lights Applet.

In the "Advanced Preferences" there is indicated that the applet needs
the correct modem lock file to display modem information, otherwise it
cannot display modem information.

Could you add there that you can retrieve the correct lock file name by
establishing a PPP connection and then changing into the /var/lock
directory. There should now be a new lock file. This is most likely the
one you need for the applet.

This would help both administrators who have other things to do and
those newbies that are administrators themselves, but don't know how
their distro configured the device.
