Gnome-term docs.

Dear Sir/Madam.
	I'm using the Mandrake 8.1 distribution and Gnome terminals and
having an easy time  changing preferences (fonts, bell, swap backspace
etc.) but how do I save those changed preferences so they persist for new
Gnome terminals?

	How do I increase the cut-and-paste buffer?

	These topics should be covered in the Gnome terminal User's Guide
(at lease I couldn't find them)
