RE: The Ultimate Help System



I like your suggestion, a happy medium might be to have the help
documentation installed, and the first step if the answer is not found is to
check the central help database and see if there are any updates.  If not,
then the question goes to the IRC channel.

This way, if they are offline, then they still have highly up to date
information.

They might also have a choice of not storing any of the help locally, and
all queries are to the web (useful for systems with highly limited
diskspace).

ie an option of- Do not store help locally.
