Hum, this sounds a perfect job for an XSLT transformation. Has anybody
ever heard of such a stylesheet.
It seems there is a DSSL stylesheet:
http://lists.oasis-open.org/archives/docbook/200001/msg00137.html
and it looks relatively simple, so maybe producing this XSLT may not take
very long,
