The only comment is that IIRC, it was decided that for the sake of
uniformity, we better use "help", not "doc" as the name of CVS
directory to put documentation in. Similarly, figures go to "figures",
not "figs". 

Also: probably,  help shouldn't be linked to html file
directly: it should call help browser with appropriate
application name/section , and Nautilus will
do sgml->html rendering on the fly. But developers - and people like
jfleck and muet -  know all this much better than me.

 Other than that, it looks OK.
