doc needing updating

Hi all-
 
The gtali docs are needing to be updated.  They are currently written in
HTML.  They need to be converted to docbook and add the template
extras.  It also wouldn't hurt to edit the text and add screenshots.
The docs are rather old and probably don't explain some things about the
app.

This would be a good project for someone who is new to the GDP and
looking for an app to document.
