My first Gnomish program doesn't compile :(

Hello, I'm new to the list.
Today I have done the first trying to Gnomize my program (Gseq). I have
tryed it taking a look to the 'gnome-hello-0-bassic'.
When I try to compile, I get a long list of errors that I can't know
exactly why.
If I try to compile the gnome-hello-0-bassic with the Makefile that
comes with my distrib (debian) it gives me errors too (it tryes to
execute autoconf in the upper directory to
/usr/doc/gnome-hello/examples, where it lives)

The errors are all of them seemed to:
/usr/include/sys/select.h:60: warning: `FD_SET' redefined
/usr/include/linux/time.h:30: warning: this is the location of the
previous definition
(it repeats many times more)
In file included from /usr/include/libgnome/libgnome.h:35,
                 from /usr/include/gnome.h:10,
                 from main.c:26:
/usr/include/libgnome/gnome-score.h:35: parse error before `time_t'
...
/usr/usr/include/stdlib.h:555: parse error before `wchar_t'
/usr/include/stdlib.h:559: parse error before `*'
/usr/include/stdlib.h:561: parse error before `*'
/include/stdlib.h:552: parse error before `*'
...
/usr/include/libgnomeui/gnome-scores.h:83: parse error before `time_t'
...
/usr/include/libgnomeui/gtk-clock.h:38: parse error before `time_t'
/usr/include/libgnomeui/gtk-clock.h:38: warning: no semicolon at end of
struct or union
...(and so on)...

Do you have any idea on what I have doing bad?

Really thankfull:
Juan Carlos
