I retract the question. I was using ctrl+c while calling process was
started from terminal.
Just using killall or killall -9 on calling process worked just fine.

Hello,
I am using g_app_info_launch to launch an application, if the caller
application gets killed
the application launched with g_app_info_launch gets killed as well.
What is the proper way to prevent this?
Should one get the cmd_exe instead(it's from a desktop file) and use fork()?
Thanks in advance and best regards,
Damian
