Well still. I think many people would still want to use their favourite
editor. I don'tthink supporting both in the future is a huge deal. In fact
dividing by language makes more sense. Then you don't gethints in english
just because one wasn't translated. Hints for different language can be
different (which might make sense perhaps if a hintwas related to some locale
only). Also it would be faster to parse since gnome-hints would be parsing
only the files it really needs to parse for that language.
