libart and big/little endian ports

Hello,

I was curious to find out if libart_lgpl has been ported to big endian
platforms.   I am writing a python package based on libart and we are
now dealing with getting it running on the Mac.

p.s. How should patches to libart be dealt with?  Should I mail them
to someone, or sign up as a gnome developer?  Raph are you out there?
