Canonical *.defs files?

I want to write a Gnome program in Common LISP (preferably CLISP). As far
as I know, none of the free implementations of Common LISP have support for
Gnome.

Most of the Gtk and Gnome bindings appear to be based on various
'gtk-*.def' files.  Where can I find the canonical, up-to-date versions of
these files? Is there any relevant documentation?
