Small little addition:

If it does not compile, I'm using ORBit 0.5.0 (tarball) with Sebastian
Wilhelmi's multi-thread patch, but it should also work without this.

Other little thing:

After compiling and installing ORBit (unless you use current CVS, but I
don't know whether this works), you need to edit the installed (yes, I
know this is a hack ...) `$(includedir)/ORBitservices/CosTypedEventChannel.idl'
and change the `#include <CosTypedEventChannel.idl>' to `CosEventChannel.idl'
(so it does not attempt to #include itself and gets CosEventChannel).
