[gnome-db] how to query provider to know the number of arguments to pass to gda_sql_builder_add_cond

is there a way to query the database provider to get the right number  
of arguments to pass to gda_sql_builder_add_cond base on  
GdaSqlOperatorType?

and, is there a way to query the database provider to know if a  
GdaSqlOperatorType is supported?
