Well, my point is to avoid unnecessary duplications when it's not
needed. For example, currently,GDaColumn's attributes are set during
(after actually :) statement execution, which could be done only if
GdaColumn is requested.

In our case, one part executes the query and another do reverse
engineering, so first part should use such flag always, which is not
optimal IMO.
