Ok before trying that, I just want to check about this:
(from the rpm manpage)
Install and upgrade options
...
--prefix NEWPATH
For relocatable binary packages, translate all file paths that start
with the installation prefix in the package relocation hint(s) to
NEWPATH.
Does anyone do this?
