[gnome-db] syslog portability

gda-log.c uses syslog.h - this is not very portable (eg. I couldnt 
quickly work out how to make it work on win32), I modified it to use 
g_log(),
Thoughts?

Tried to get a bugzilla account - either I blacklisted the server 
acidentally or it's running a bit slow..
