I have no defined opinion on this, except for the fact that I prefer to
use key bindings instead of mouse and click!
I don't know about any HIG recommendations on the subject.
Maybe the solution is to use CTRL+ALT+
't' for tables
's' for sequences
'q' for queries
'f' for forms
'l' for SQL
