That would be very nice, I know that we are pretty desperate for any
kind of procedure maint. functionality.

Thats seems reasonable.

Curious if the final solution will implement syntax highlighting,
etc...  There are lots of GNOME applications out there that do
highlighted code editing (glimmer, anjuta, ....).  Do they use a code
editing component or something that could be lifted.  Glimmer supports
highlighted SQL, I don't know about others.
