[gnome-db] installing iSeries driver for Linux as provider

I have installed the iSeries driver and defined a UnixODBC datasource as 
mentioned in this forum.
I can query the datasource with isql so the driver and installation must 
be correct.
But I would like a GUI data access tool so I have installed 
Gnome-db/libgda/mergeant.
How do I install the iSeries driver as a "provider" in merchant ?
