[gnome-db] Do the new 0.8.x versions compile on gnome-1.4?

Hi.

Do the new versions on gnome-db also compile on gnome 1.4 or only on the
2.0? I don't want to install gnome 2.0 as I work on my machine and don't
have time to fix up eventual messes I make.
