Hi!

Seeing this cvs commit, I wonder what's the status of the debian packages. Akira, are you
still busy to do them and upload them to ftp.debian.org? If so, can Holger,
if he wants to, do them and send them to you?

If either of you (Holger and Akira) are going to make the packages, please wait
until the 15th or so, which is the date to upload the packages for GNOME 1.4
beta 3. At that time I hope to have some final translations (specially the Spanish
one, which was time to have it :), and then I'll make the final tarballs
for 0.2.3, which will be the version to go with GNOME 1.4.

Just in case you don't remember, the packages must be done using the
release-0-2-3-branch CVS branch. Don't use the HEAD branch for doing the packages!!

I myself tried last week to do them, but I found some errors, which I didn't
have time to fix. In fact, some changes to the debian dir were checked in in
my last commit (yesterday) accidentally.
