Please forgive me for jumping into the middle of this. I'm behind on
mail and have yet to get cvs libgda to build for testing in gnue forms
(I know it was covered on the list but the archive links are broken)
I think the report system should be seperate from gda as I see libgda in
the same light as ODBC, Perl's DBI, etc. It's an API to access
data. Following this naming/packaging scheme we'd name products like
odbc-reports, perl-dbi-reports, etc.
Putting a report system into libgda adds bloat and confuses the
purpose IMHO. I see a much better seperation as
data source
