I managed to install the beast :)

After installing the oaf-factory.idl file to /usr/share/idl I had a new
problem (that I will describe only for the record), when I was trying to
compile libgda it complained about gda-stubs.c or something... I've only
uninstalled gtk+-1.3 (from the redhat7.0), recompiled and (surprise :)
it worked like a charm :)
