This is *really* embarrassing. I respect correct spelling and grammar.
But *I* misspelled 'clinet'. The message really is:
make: *** No rule to make target '../gda-clnt/libgda-client.la', needed by
rolodex
Copied this message from the Linux machine to w95 machine for email posting
(guess that's sin enough) just before toddling off to bed. So in one stroke
derogated the composer of /rolodex/makefile.am and impugned my credibility.
Sorry about that!
Also rushed into rolodex. Hadn't installed bonobo, so tried that.
The messages from installing bonobo rpm are
Failed dependencies;
libgdk_pixbuf.so.2 is needed by bonobo-0.13-prw2
libgnomeprint.so.6 is needed by bonobo-0.13-prw2
(spelling reviewed) :-)
Thanks for helping
