The error you get is not related with the version of postgres you have, it is a
problem with the gnome setup you have for components activation. If you use
gnorba (propably, because OAF is not yet shipped with gnome), have a look at
your ~/.gnome/gdalib and /etc/CORBA/servers/gnome-db.gnorba files to make sure
they are right. Also make sure you built the gda-postgres-srv program (the
postgres provider) using the --with-postgres=/path/to/postgres (usually /usr)
for the configure script.
Moreover, I still haven't had the time to make sure the postgres provider works
with postgres 7.0.*. So it may not work well. However, if you need it, I can
make the necessary modifications (which I wanted to do for some time).
