It shouldn't be a problem, you'll just have the default installation directories,
and only the ODBC server.

So, run autogen.sh and send me all its output (from  the beginning). The only thing
I can think of is that there is a previous error which is generating bad commands.

Or, is it the gnome-db-0.0.90.tar.gz tarball that's on the website what you're
trying to compile? if so, this tarball already includes the intl directory; make a
copy of the intl dir and remove it from the source tree, then re-run autogen.sh,
which should re-generate the intl directory.
