Столкнулся с термином broker. Списался с разработчиком программы.
A broker is some external entity that handles VMs that you can connect
to. This is in contrast to the VMs boxes normally handle which are owned
by you and run on the same machine.
A typical broker is oVirt (http://www.ovirt.org/Home) or the commercial
version of it (RHEV).
Как я понял - брокер это управляющая ВМ платформа, только на другом хосте. В качестве примера приведён oVirt. Я думаю что всякие Proxmox, OpenSTACk и Citrix Xen Server так же подходят под это определение. Как перевести слово брокер?
Предлагаю "удалённый хост". Немного неправильно с технической точки зрения, зато устоявшееся выражение.
