This is a great, Alex! I'm already liking it. It's also good base to work from.

If anyone wants to contribute to GNOME Contacts, this is a great time
to start. There's lots to do, but I think 3.4 can be a really nice
release if we get things moving. I've started filing bugs [1, 2, 3, 4,
5] for some of the smaller changes that are needed, so just jump in.
I'm happy to answer any design questions you might have.
