Canvas Component Commit

Hello,

	I committed fixes to the bonobo-canvas-component/item as well as a
simple demo/test program in libbonoboui/samples/canvdemo.  Please try it
out.

	The canvdemo program is intentionally simple and therefore does nothing
useful except dump lots of events between component and container.  I
usually run 6-8 container programs then move the graphics around with
the cursor in order to drive my 600Mhz CPU up to 100%. There is some
very course documentation included in the directory.


Other subjects:

	I have a problem in my libbonobui CVS directory that I haven't been
able to solve:  The autogen.sh should be creating a gtk-doc.make file
but does not.  I have to copy it from .../share/aclocal by hand in order
to get the configure script to run.  I am using gtk-doc and gnome-common
from the latest Garnome distribution.  Any ideas?

	
	I looked briefly at Nautilus "eel"-canvas.  I may be missing something
but I think the only difference is that the affine transform has been
removed.  Maybe for performance reasons?  I can't imagine that it would
be noticeable.  It is only a 3x2 matrix.  It may be possible to to
handle both with the same libbonoboui code just by calling a different
initialization routine. An application could then mix and match eel and
gnome canvas items if for some reason it needed to.
