	I think it is difficult to know what to do for the best, basicaly
you are going to need to fight inside the moniker system, play with
several approaches, choose one and build some support code - it's not a 2
minute easy hack - it's infastructural work.

	Also, you'll need to implement an out of proc moniker to be the
D&D server.

	Some vague hand waving approaches might be:

		* Serialize the component's selection to the Moniker D&D
	server for temporary storage on application.

		or

		* Not really quitting the app, until the clipboard is
	cleared.

		or a timeout combination of the above.

	NB. you will soon discover that what you really need is a sensibly
integrated activation and object tracking service, unlike oaf - which is
broken by design.
