Hi there,
A cursory glace tells me that your gettext installations is hosed.
I remember having this problem before and that was because I did a make
uninstall at some point. Apparently, this deletes some important gettext
files.
Perhaps you need to reinstall gettext and then try building again.
Worked for me when I last did it.
