The bug that started this thread was that calling
bonobo_ui_component_set_status (ui_component, "", NULL) had no effect.

Michael made a fix that caused this to start working. The same fix caused
passing NULL for the text also to work.

However, it is back to not working. Calling bonobo_ui_component_set_status
(ui_component, "", NULL) once again has no effect.

I'll put the workaround back into Nautilus (pass " "). Michael, you might
want to re-fix this in Bonobo. I haven't looked at the Bonobo code to see
how it got re-broken.
