oafd / libpopt

Sorry to bother you with that question:

Do you know where I can get a shared version of libpopt? (no deb, no rpm)

The version 1.2 that is available from REDHAT servers won't give me shared libraries, as does the version (1.4) that is available in GNOME cvs (popt, although configured with --enable-shared).

I am experiencing more and more difficulties. Now, oafd won't even compile any longer, because the shared library libpopt is not found:
