	There is nothing wrong with your code ( apart from some style
issues [ see gnome style guide etc. ] =) it is golden and works fine here.

	I would suggest killing oafd, ensuring that your bonobo is
configured with oaf support ( see the message that configure gives at the
last ). You might want to upgrade to CVS oaf and bonobo since these fix a
load of bugs.
