Translating objects

I need to get a CORBA_object representation of a BonoboView to use in
calling an IDL interface function. I can't seem to figure out how to get
there from the Bonobo_View return of view_frame_get_view. Can someone point
me in the right direction?
Sorry for the rudimentary question.
