Is there a PPA containing this latest version of colord for Ubuntu 13.04 
(it ships with version 0.1.30)?

Note that after reading 
http://blog.pcode.nl/2013/04/14/display-profiles-generated-from-edid/, I 
applied the suggested workaround (use argyll’s sRGB color profile), and 
that did the trick.
