- Display Make: Asus
- Display Model: N43J
- The Displays Age: Maybe 2 years?
- Duty Cycle: This is how much the screen gets used? Then on
average probably around 2-4 hours a day, so light to moderate
usage.
- The output of xprop -display :0.0 -len 14 -root _ICC_PROFILE:
_ICC_PROFILE(CARDINAL) = 0, 0, 4, 176, 108, 99, 109, 115, 4, 32,
0, 0, 109, 110
- Subjective Impression: Test image (SmugMug
calibration image) looks far more realistic without "Try
to use system monitor profile" in GIMP checked. With "Try to use
system monitor profile" checked, yellows looks like pink-purple,
greens looks like blue-purple, reds are red-brown, purple is a
muted brown-green, blue is a muted green, brown is a colder
brown
I have attached comparison images, "Skärmbild från 2013-05-01
22:26:57.png" is the one without "Try to use system monitor
profile" checked where I think the colours look correct, and
Skärmbild från 2013-05-01 22:27:10.png is the one with "Try to
use system monitor profile" checked where I think the colours
look completely wrong.
