Ubuntu 11.10 unable to laod monitor profile - no monitor to select

Hi

I just upgraded to oneiric and have, so far, been unable to load a monitor profile. When I open the colour control panel there is no monitor available to select, just my scanner and printer. In the displays control panel the monitor shows up as an unknown monitor but the resolutions are correct.

I am using gcm 3.2.x from pascals ppa although this was reported as no newer than the version installed with oneiric. My monitor is a formac TFT 2010 AU-1. This is correctly identified by nvidia x-server app (I am runnning on a gforce 7900 GT).

any help appreciated.

thanks

Mark

First describe your actual problem.

What is not working exactly?

Which version of GCM are you using? Which version of ArgyllCMS do you
have installed? On which distro?

Thanks and regards,
Pascal de Bruijn
