I'm a bit late here, but here are 2.32.0 packages for Ubuntu Lucid:

  https://launchpad.net/~pmjdebruijn/+archive/gcm-release

Maverick seems to lag behind a bit now, but I guess it'll get 2.32.0
automatically eventually :)
