How can I help degugging Gnome 3 ?

I want to help debugging Gnome 3 if I can. I can build Gnome from dev
source and use it as my main desktop on a Linux X86_64 box, and use most
of the components - so I can give it a good workout. 
Can you suggest how I can help ? I'm not a C porogrammer but understand
programming in general and principles of debuggig - gdb etc.
