Requesting Information regarding gedit plugins

Hi,

I am a new guy. While i am testing "gedit" i found that in
gedit->Preferences->Plugins there is no entry for "Spell Checker" but
there is an entry for the same in the help manual. 

Can anyone please let me know whether it is planned for future
enhancement or shall i file a bug on this.
