Andrew, others:
I'm unfortunately completely swamped with work; this sucks, and means I
have little/no time for GNOME bugzilla. :/
So... some thoughts:
*Andrew, your status update was very appreciated by the release team-
could you whip up something like that again, with focus on the serious
release stopper bugs?
* Everyone needs to be going through bugs with an eye towards 'can we
ship with this or not.' This is a /totally/ ambiguous standard, but...
well, nominate bugs here or in channel if in doubt. Mostly the list so
far seems decent (even though there are a few things on there that
should be punted, probably.)
*list of known 'issues' for release notes: please everyone keep an eye
out for things that are going to cause 'problems' for release but that
aren't strictly bugs. For example, nautilus theme settings not carrying
over- this is a definite result of a new feature, so it's not something
that is likely to be 'fixed' unless someone writes an upgrade script,
but it's still something some people are going to think is a bug unless
we warn them in the release notes. Add the 'relnote' keyword if you
think you see anything of the sort.
Anyway, hopefully I'll be around a bit over the next week- please
respond if you have anything positive or negative to say... ['Luis, you
suck' is acceptable and accurate if not exactly constructive. :/]
Thanks for everything-
Luis
