naming scheme

I'm about to start renaming some components in the bugzilla as per the
renaming in gnome-utils- things like gcalc->gnome-calculator, for
example.
The current scheme for renames would suggest that I rename these new
gnome-* programs to 'gnome-X [was: Y]'. However, since these are all in
gnome-utils, will anyone object seriously if I drop the gnome- from the
names? Please let me know...
