QEMU 2.5 only contains a very initial proof of concept implementation
of 3d support with the SDL2 & GTK backends for QEMU. This is not usable
by most applications, including Boxes, virt-manager, oVirt, OpenStack.
These are all waiting for integration into the SPICE protocol before
they can use 3d support. This /might/ arrive in QEMU 2.6 but there are
no promises - it'll be ready when its ready.
