Boxes and jhbuild again

I've got this running on openSUSE 12.2 but I'm getting errors like
this trying to select an iso file:

Boxes-WARNING **: app.vala:92: Unable to open qemu+unix:///session:
Failed to connect socket to '@/home/mike/.libvirt/libvirt-sock':
Connection refused

Boxes-WARNING **: wizard.vala:136: Unable to open qemu:///session:
Failed to connect socket to '@/home/mike/.libvirt/libvirt-sock':
Connection refused

What can I do?

Another question... is there someplace to read up on the spice:// uri format?
