Geary 3.34.0 released!

Hi all,

Geary 3.34.0 has been released! This is a feature release, including an improved contacts popover with support for adding and editing contacts in the desktop address-book, automatic completion of email addresses from the desktop address-book and spellchecking the subject line in the composer, support for Outlook-specific email attachments, and a number of user interface and icon improvements.

This release has also seen a substantial number of server compatibility improvements, background synchronisation improvements, bugs fixed, updated translations of both the user interface and online manual, further modernisation and improvements of the the code base, as well as improved tools for debugging and reporting errors.

The new version will be available from <https://flathub.org> in the next few days, or as your distribution packages the new version.

There are two known issues with this release, both require releases of dependant software packages to fix: * Showing message bodies is slow, requires a fix that should be in WebKitGTK 2.26.1 <https://gitlab.gnome.org/GNOME/geary/issues/559> * Open In Contacts not working unless Contacts is running, requires a fix that should be in GNOME Contacts 3.34.1 <https://gitlab.gnome.org/GNOME/geary/issues/556>

Note to packagers: Geary now invokes the GNOME Contacts app for creating and editing contacts in the desktop address-book, so ideally this should be installed alongside Geary. Where possible, please add Contacts as a recommended dependency of Geary's package.

Enjoy!
//Mike
