BuildStream 1.2.3 released

Hi all,

This is another bugfix release of the 1.2.x release cycle.

The highlight of this release is improved performance of pushing and
pulling artifacts from a remote artifact server. BuildStream will
continue to function without an update of the artifact servers but we
highly recommend an upgrade to any artifact servers in order to benefit
from the performance improvements.

This release also fixes a handfull of bugs which are listed in the
notes below.


What is BuildStream ?

BuildStream is a Free Software tool for building/integrating software
stacks. It takes inspiration, lessons and use-cases from various
projects including OBS, Reproducible Builds, Yocto, Baserock,
Buildroot, Aboriginal, GNOME Continuous, JHBuild, Flatpak Builder and
Android repo.

BuildStream supports multiple build-systems (e.g. autotools, cmake,
distutils, make, meson), and can create outputs in a range of formats
(e.g. debian packages, flatpak runtimes, sysroots, system images) for
multiple platforms and chipsets.
