About Tracker
=============

Tracker is a semantic data storage for desktop and mobile devices.
Tracker uses W3C standards for RDF ontologies using Nepomuk with
SPARQL to query and update the data.

Tracker is a central repository of user information, that provides two
big benefits for the user; shared data between applications and
information which is relational to other information (for example:
mixing contacts with files, locations, activities and etc.).

  * tracker-preferences: Remove markup from UI files
  * tracker-extract-pdf: remove usage of non async-signal safe 
functions from signal handler, fixes crash on Solaris
  * man-pages: Added information about TRACKER_SPARQL_BACKEND and 
TRACKER_PRAGMAS_FILE
  * functional-tests: No longer need to install DConf profile in /etc
  * utils/sandbox: Hugely improved version from Sam's original and now
                   written in Python. Allows prefixes for binaries,
                   separate data stores and separately configured
                   locations for content indexing
