[ANNOUNCE] Gnome-utils 2.16.0 - "The New Face of Zero and One"

Good new everyone!

The gnome-utils maintainers are pleased to announce the new stable
release of the GNOME Utilities package, codenamed "The New Face of Zero
and One".

There has been much work going on in the 2.15 development cycle; many
bugs of the Screenshot utility have been fixed, like the black corner
that appeared when shooting windows with a rounded corner Metacity
theme; or the missing pixels when shooting windows with the "border"
effect.  The Dictionary application has finally added a tool for showing
the words similar to the one searched, in form of a side pane; the same
side pane is also used to show the list of databases on the currently
used source.  Bugs in the Search Tool has been fixed as well, and System
Log Viewer has been adapted to better work out of the box on Solaris.
We also added a new utility: Baobab, a disk usage analyser which can be
used to show how your disk space is distributed in a folder or on an
entire disk.

Less work than expected has been done, unfortunately; we will amend in
the 2.17 release cycle; stay tuned for new features, and please report
each and every bug you might find so that it can be promptly fixed.

Many thanks to all the various contributors that helped in the making of
gnome-utils during this release cycle by reporting bugs, providing
patches and translations.
